Need-Based Scholarships Available to All Students!
Beginning in January 2023, Ballet Taos, as a part of its mission as a nonprofit organization, is opening its classes to any youth in Taos that wants to dance. Need-based scholarships are available on a sliding scale. If a child wants to dance, we want them to be a part of the Ballet Taos community!
Free Outreach Programs
Did you know that as part of our outreach initiative Project Relevé, we provide educational programming to school children in Taos that includes in-school assemblies, free in-theater instruction and demonstration, and free or discounted tickets to full performances?
Performances
Did you know that performance costs include: theater rental for shows and rehearsals, guest artists, light technicians, costume materials, costume alterations, set materials and design, props, licensing, insurance, and more? But without them all, we’d just be dancing alone in the dark.
Guest Artists
Did you know students at Ballet Taos have the opportunity to take classes from accomplished Guest Teachers, perform alongside professional artists in Academy productions, and dance in touring productions with professional dancers? Moreover, pre-professional dancers from across the state are able to audition for one of 10 apprenticeship spots for the summer of 2023.
