MUST SEE ONE NIGHT ONLY PERFORMANCE. Join us on August 1 at the WildFlower Playhouse for the much-anticipated Summer Company Project benefit performance for Ballet Taos. This year we’re excited to present “White Scenes”, a collection of classical and contemporary work staged and choreographed by Mr. Jock Soto, New York City Ballet, Mr. Nikoloz Makhateli, International Master Teacher and Choreographer, Rio Grande Artist’s Residency Company Choreographer’s Anaka Weiss-Jones and Athena Dunleavy,  Megan Yackovich, Artistic Director of Ballet Taos, and Special Guest Artists Sara Radka and William Wisneskey.

Doors open at 6:00 P.M. for a Meet & Greet in the Gallery, with excerpts from documentary films of Mr. Jock Soto, Mr. Nikoloz Makhateli, along with film clips of previous Ballet Taos performances. At 6:30 P.M., there will be a Behind-The-Scenes exploration and discussion of the daily life of a dancer. At 7:00 P.M., we’ll all find our seats in the theatre for a mixed-bill performance celebrating returning professional guest artists, BT graduates, and advanced-level students as they share new work. Choreographers will offer an elucidation and Q & A before presenting their work. Let’s celebrate our performing arts community and come together on Saturday, August 1 to inspire the next generation of dancers, patrons, and art lovers in northern NM.

Youth are free, please reserve tickets.
